Steve Baker
Steve Baker is the co-founder and co-President of Production Sports. Born in the North East of England, Steve started his competitive skating career at the age of 12 and by the time he was 17 he was the U.K. National Junior Pairs Skating Champion and the silver medalist in the U.K. National Senior Pair Skating Championships. After representing the U.K. both as an amateur and professional skater he turned his time to passing on his knowledge by coaching at the Richmond Ice Rink. After coaching for 5 years Steve took his first position as Ice Rink manager at Altrincham Ice Rink then later to Bradford Ice Rink. Steve produced a traveling ice show that toured the U.K. and the U.A.E. Immigrating to the U.S. with his family Steve took the position of Skating Director and Coach with the Seattle Skating Club. Steve has served on various U.S.F.S.A. committees and currently serves on the Snohomish County Sports Commission. Steve currently coaches at the Seattle Skating Club with his wife, a former Olympian and they both live in Edmonds WA with their son.
Laura Lee
Laura Lee is a co-founder and co-President of Production Sports. Born in Toronto, Canada, Laura grew up in Vancouver, B.C. experiencing the best of both indoor and outdoor sport that this city offers. Dabbling in swimming, gymastics, diving and synchronized swimming, Laura's youth was spent enjoying practice and competition. Educated as a Registered Nurse, Langara College, with a certificate in heatlh and fitness, Simon Fraser University, Laura learned the importance of managing critical events as an Emergency room nurse at St. Paul's Hopsital, Vancouver. A stint as a project manager for the Worker's Compensation Board of B.C. gave to her facilitiation, public speaking and event management skills. Immigrating to the U.S. with her family, Laura has spent the last four years as the Business Manager of the Seattle Skating Club. She has been the Chairperson of three club level figure skating competitions, the chair for the 2007 Pacific Coast Sectional Figure Skating Championships and the chair of the 2008 Northwest Pacific Regional Championships. Laura lives in Monroe, WA with her four children and her husband, a family physician in Duvall, WA.
